FP&A gauges foreign exchange impacts on international earnings. The euro’s strengthening against the dollar is factored into FP&A reports for multinational consumer goods firms. The target weights in software were programmed into the on-chip PCM devices with a closed-loop tuning process 34 . Four PCM devices are used to program each weight and implement asymmetry balance, with positive (negative) weights programmed on the first (second) PCM-pair 8 . The programmed hardware (HW) weights match the target software (SW) weights quite well (see Supplementary Fig. 3 for correlation plots for all 34 tiles), with correlation coefficients (R 2 )  > 0.98. However, correlation plots between HW MAC and SW MAC (Supplementary Fig. 4 ) exhibit wider spread than the raw weights. This spread visually increases with layers, and the HW-SW MAC correlation coefficients (R 2 ) degrade steadily for all seven GLUE tasks (Supplementary Fig. 5 ), indicating accumulation of MAC error as tokens move through the 12 layers. Both Supplementary Figs. 4 and 5 show that these HW-SW MAC correlations improve at each inProj and FC1 layer-block as compared to outProj and FC2, which can be attributed to the restoring nature of the LayerNorm operations performed just before inProj and FC1. Comparing trading costs is challenging, with numerous variables impacting the final fees. I evaluated the spreads of the EUR/USD, gold, the S&P 500, and WTI crude - four of the most traded assets, available at all brokers. Swap rates apply with a T+2 formula to account for weekends, which means each Wednesday, most Forex positions incur a triple fee. Some exceptions exist depending on the currency pair, and a T+1 applies. Taking a 1.0 standard lot buy position in the EUR/USD with 1:500 leverage and holding it for one night will cost the following: $6.00 commission + $4.47 swap rate = $10.47 Holding the same trade for seven nights accumulates the following costs: $6.00 commission + $31.29 swap rate (7 x $4.47) = $37.29 The $6.00 commission for Forex traders per 1.0 standard lots remains among the best industry wide. My review focused on the MT4 trading platform, which is available to all FP Markets clients. The Iress trading platform, restricted by geographical location, is focused on global equity trading and features a number of additional costs. These can total above $200 per month for low-frequency traders, but FP Markets has a program in place for active traders to receive reimbursement for most costs.
