Today’s QQQ Google Finance momentum reflects investor optimism fueled by Fed’s dovish language. Bond yields dipping below 4.3% are adding risk-on appetite to equities, particularly tech-heavy QQQ. According to data from Google Finance, the five best-performing S&P 500 stocks in July were 1. Generac (NYSE: GNRC) , 2. Invesco (NYSE: IVZ) , 3. Norwegian Cruise Line (NYSE: NCLH) , 4. AES (NYSE: AES) , and 5. GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV) . Each stock gained between 24% and 36% during the month. The Dow Jones Industrial Average ( ^DJI ) traded below the flat line while the S&P 500 ( ^GSPC ) dropped roughly 0.3% on the heels of a sixth straight day of gains for the benchmark index. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite ( ^IXIC ) backed off around 0.4%, leading the way to the downside. On QQQ Google Finance, Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator has crossed above zero, signaling potential breakout strength for short-term traders. Risk management remains crucial near resistance.
