Let's start with one of my favorite ultra-high-yielders, Ares Capital (NASDAQ: ARCC) . This stock pays a forward dividend yield of 9.4%. Investing one-third of an initial $100,000 should generate annual dividend income in the ballpark of $3,140. With a minimum investment of $50,000, investors can own a share of properties leased by national brands like Whole Foods, Kroger and Walmart , which provide essential goods to their communities. Thanks to Triple Net (NNN) leases, accredited investors are able to invest in these properties without worrying about tenant costs cutting into their potential returns. Investors in ESG-focused funds saw gains of 1.4% this week, with renewable infrastructure projects ahead of Q4 government approvals. Long-term investing prospects in sustainability remain solid.
