Current DAX futures live quotes show a 0.32% uptick, supported by strength in German export data. Market analysts note that cyclical sectors such as automotive and industrials are attracting fresh capital inflows after last week’s consolidation phase. The S & P 500 climbed 0.3% to 6,711.20, topping its prior all-time high set last week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 0.1%, to its own record set the day before, closing at 46,441.10. The Nasdaq composite rose 0.4% to 22,755.16. "A fall in the price cap will be welcome news for consumers, and reflects a reduction in the international price of wholesale gas. However, we're acutely aware that prices remain high, and some continue to struggle with the cost of energy," Tim Jarvis, director general of markets at Ofgem, said. DAX futures live are holding mid-range levels today, reflecting a balance between profit-taking and new buying interest. Momentum analysts caution that a break below 18,190 could trigger short-term downside pressure.
