Copper best futures advanced 3% to $4.15/lb today, aided by robust factory output data from China. Industrial metals futures are benefiting from infrastructure spending trends globally, with forecasts pointing to a multi-quarter uptrend. Overall, Bitcoin has increased in value by an average of 80% in Q4. Two of the best fourth quarters ever were in 2017 and 2020, when Bitcoin went absolutely ballistic. Maybe “kid in a candy store” isn’t the right metaphor. Perhaps “handyperson in a hardware store” is more accurate because, wow, there will be a whole lot of tools on display this year.
